Over the last week or so, we’ve seen a big increase in the insect life buzzing around the garden and visiting all the flowers and plants. There’s been a cloud of the guys on the left over the lavender, gently swaying along with the bushes as they stir in the breeze, with every so often a flash of bright green/yellow from the much bigger guys in the middle (maybe Cloudless Sulphurs?) and finally, these things that fly and look just like Hummingbirds but are even smaller and feel like something out of a Disney Cartoon (apparently these are called Hummingbird Moths, or Hummingbird Hawk Moths).

One of the nicest places in the world...

One of the nicest, cleanest, friendly places we have stayed anywhere in the world. Beds were fantastic, breakfast was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and the peace and quiet was wonderful. Thank you Sue & Tony for a wonderful stay. (Also published on Facebook)...
