Bonnes Saisons is with no doubts a place to enjoy plenty days of rest and repeat the experience, in the good company of Susan and Tony, two lovely hosts. Their attention is careful, cordial and close. They are very respectful, friendly and attentive. It’s a good luck meeting them. Tony and Susan’s residency is a place where every detail have been taken in care in terms of comfort, easiness and functionality. The lodging for guests is very diaphanous, comfortable and equipped for some time of relax and entertainment. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and well arranged for rest. In the morning, the hosts offer to gests a good, abundant, varied and nutritious breakfast, that can be enjoyed from cozy dining room that gifts with a magnificent view to the outside, with a Cathar Castle of Puivert in the background. The town is tiny, but with has it charm. There is only one bar in the village, where only good craft beers are served, as well as paninis and some other snacks. A food truck stops in the village every Friday evening to offer a good assortment of pizzas and oven food. If you are lucky to arrive in the appropriate moment (Friday afternoon) and match the food truck, with live music at the bar, you cannot disagree with a better arrival or welcome, a detail that undoubtedly constitutes an idyllic scene with the surroundings and the moment. There is a lake a few meters walking from the house, is a beautiful environment which invites to walk, rest under the trees or just relax lying in the grass. Walking beyond the lake, or between the houses of the town, begins an upwards path that in about 25’min will take to Puivert Castle, an enclave with some histories of musicians, troubadour and medieval parties, in which you can visit some parts of the buildings that still standing inside for a small fee. This castle was also use as the final location of the movie “The Ninth Gate”.
